Charles F. Greggerson, 92, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017. He was the beloved husband of the late Olga M. (Rosentreter) Greggerson who passed away on July 7, 2015. Born in Providence, a son of the late Alexander F. and Rose M. (Saute) Greggerson, he resided in North Providence before moving to Seekonk in 1955. Chuck was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran serving in both the European and Pacific Theaters and he also served in the RI National Guard for thirty-five years. Chuck was a 1st Sergeant Publication Technician for the Army National Guard for forty years until retiring in 1985. He was a member and Past-president of the former St. Mary’s Senior Saints; former member of the Providence Turners and a Certified Volleyball referee. He leaves two daughters, Karen L. Greggerson of Seekonk and Diane C. Greggerson of Connecticut; a son Robert C. Greggerson and his wife, Pammie, of Seekonk; three grandchildren, Lance A. Greggerson of East Providence, Robert G. Greggerson of Plymouth and Jodie O. Greggerson of Lincoln; a great-grandson, Jackson and his beloved grand-dog, Gunny. He was the brother of the late Robert G. Greggerson and Dorothy M. Cunningham. His funeral with Military Honors will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk.
