Catherine H. “Cathy” Perry

Catherine H. “Cathy” Perry, 78, of Seekonk, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home. She was the wife of James E. Perry, Sr.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Annunzio and Helene “Fannie” (Silvia) Provazza. Cathy worked for the Seekonk School Department as an Instructional Aide for 32 years before retiring 20 years ago. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and was also a member of the choir. She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She always enjoyed spending time with her family.

Besides her husband she leaves two children, James E. Perry, Jr and Robin Perry both of Seekonk, two grandchildren, Alexandra “Lexi” and Katherine “Xiulie” and two brothers, William Provazza and Stephen Provazza. She was the sister of the late Richard Provazza.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Seekonk Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Face coverings are required and 15 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time.
