Carole E. Hayes, 74 of Seekonk passed away Sunday June 4, 2017 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care. She was the wife of James W. Hayes. Born in Providence she was the daughter of Harold and Elizabeth (McFadyen) Nyberg. She worked as a medical secretary for various medical offices before retiring. Carole was an active member of Haven United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed spending time by the ocean. In addition to her husband Carole is survived by two children Todd Hayes of Somerville, MA, Kristin Hayes of Miami Lakes, FL, one granddaughter Francy Hayes, and one cousin Bonnie Smith of Little Compton. Her funeral service will be held on Friday June 9, 2017 at 10 AM in Haven United Methodist Church 200 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Seekonk Cemetery.
