Bristol County Savings Bank Major Sponsor Of Walkabout – An Educational Event To Benefit Sturdy Memorial Hospital And The Rotary Club Of Attleboro

Attleboro, MA, September 15, 2017 — Bristol County Savings Bank has committed $25,000 to sponsor a new educational event to benefit the charitable giving of the Rotary Club of Attleboro and Sturdy Memorial Hospital. On Saturday, October 14, 2017 the first ever WALKABOUT event will take place at Capron Park Zoo, located at 201 County Street in Attleboro. This fun and educational family walk-style event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Participants will journey though Capron Park Zoo while stopping at educational booths to learn about topics such as exercise and nutrition, opioid dangers, sun safety and more.
