Ann C. (Collins) Searles, passed away on April 9, 2021 at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI.

She was the loving wife, for 64 years, to the late John (Jack) Patrick Searles.
Born in Pawtucket, RI she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (O'Donell) Collins.

Ann was class president of the third graduating class of Salve Regina College in 1953. After marrying the love of her life, Ann and Jack settled in Seekonk, MA where she served her community as a proud elementary school teacher in the Seekonk Public School System for nearly 30 years.

Ann was a sweet, caring and loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who had the good fortune of knowing her. Although she came to the sports of skiing and golfing later in life, she enjoyed numerous family ski trips over the years as well playing in a couples' golf league for several years. In her later years, Ann and Jack enjoyed traveling and time with their amazing group of friends.

Ann was a talented painter and loved to sew for her family. She would always have a good book and crossword puzzle going and oh how she loved her "cowboy movies"! But it was the love of her family and close friends for which Ann will most be remembered.

Predeceased by her sister Cornelia Collins and her brothers John and Joseph Collins, Ann leaves three loving children: Sean P. Searles and his wife Diane of Acworth, GA; Kathryn L. Fraser and her husband John of Seekonk, MA; and Mark J. Searles and his wife Nicole of Barrington, RI. Predeceased by her grandson, Matthew H. Searles she also leaves seven grandchildren: Ryan, Samantha, J.D., Michaela, Sidney, Hailey & Maggie as well as great grand-daughter Leighton May.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 14, at 10am in St. Margaret's Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Burial will follow at Seekonk Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 13, from 3pm until 7pm in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence.
