Andrade and Petronio Face Challengers in Seekonk Election

Incumbents David Andrade and Adam Petronio are being challenged by Michelle Hines and newcomer Pamela Pozzi for two open seats on the Seekonk Board of Selectmen. Hines previously served on the board and is also former police officer. The terms are for three years each.

The town election will be held April 3. The deadline to return nomination papers was Tuesday.

Town Moderator Peter Hoogerzeil and Town Clerk Florice Craig are running unopposed.

Kyle Juckett and Bernard Luger are competing for one three year seat on the School Committee.

Former Town Clerk Jan Parker is running unopposed for an open three year seat on the Board of Assessors.

Incumbents Fred Slemon and Catherine Capello are running unopposed for the Library Board of Trustees. The terms are three years each.

Guy Larrimer is running for one three year seat on the Water Commission. Jeffrey Starr Mararian is running as a write-in candidate.

Incumbent Phoebe Lee Dunn is running unopposed for another 5 year term on the Planning Board.

No one took out papers to run for Housing Authority.
