Albert F. Hunt

Albert F. Hunt, 80, of Seekonk, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at his home. He was the son of the late Robert C. and Jane C. (Wagner) Hunt.  He was the devoted husband of the late Patricia A. (Savage) Hunt . He was the loving father of Dereyth E. Dwyer (Edward) of Coventry, and the late Robert S. Hunt of Tampa, Florida. He was also the best Papa to granddaughters Kayla and Raegan Dwyer. He was predeceased by sister Kaye Hunt and brother Robert C. Hunt.

He had a long career as a financial planner and owned A.F. Hunt and Company Inc. He also previously served as President of the R.I. Life Underwriters. Prior to his career in financial services, he served as a military police officer in the United States Army. He was an avid baseball fan and was proud to coach several local teams including the Seekonk Little League, Babe Ruth, and the J.V. team at Seekonk High School. He was a man of great wisdom and generosity and he had a great sense of humor. Above all, he treasured his time with family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk, MA. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to his favorite charity, the Jimmy Fund.
