Agnes A. (Kowalski) Lonczak, 93 years young went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Walter P. Lonczak Sr.

Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Koczowska) Kowalski.

Agnes was affectionately known as “Pickles, “Giggles”, “Pink Pants”, “Flex” but mostly as “Aggie”. Agnes was a graduate of Central Falls High School, was a member of St. Joseph’s Church Holy Rosary Society of Central Falls, Polish Young Society, Polish National Alliance, Fierlit-Korzen A.L. Post #79 Ladies Auxiliary of Central Falls, and she was a May Queen of Pawtucket. She enjoyed polka dancing, polish picnics, flowers, gardening and bird watching. After devoting her life to raising her 5 children, she returned to work at CWT in Attleboro. Everyone who met her was touched by her infectious smile and uplifting spirit. She was thoughtful, kind and pleasant to all.

Mrs. Lonczak is survived by 5 loving children, John W. Lonczak and his wife Debra of Dupont, WA, Mary-Anne Lonczak-Perri and her husband Frank of Seekonk, Walter P. Lonczak Jr. and his wife Sherri of Seekonk, Paul E. Lonczak and his wife Jonina of Narragansett and Elizabeth M. Almeida of Portsmouth, RI. She also leaves 4 beautiful grandchildren that she loved dearly, Kristyn, Andrew, Daniel and Jamie, and one very special great grandchild Alyvia, who always made her smile. She was the mother in law of the late Raymond Almeida, and the sister of the late Phyllis, Lucy, Stella and Johnny. Her contagious spirit will be missed greatly.

The funeral for Mrs. Lonczak will be held Friday August 4, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. CALLING HOURS THURSDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. In lieu of Flowers, Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Church Renovation fund or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
