E. Jean (Carlberg) Stallard, 80, of Seekonk, MA, passed away on January 17, 2017. She was the wife of Robert John Stallard. Born in Brattleboro, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ellen (Peterson) Carlberg.

Jean is survived by a son, Gary J. Stallard, and a daughter, Gail L. Feeney, both of Seekonk, MA; a brother, Henry Carlberg of Danville, CA; and four grandchildren, Courtney Sylvia, Kayla Sylvia, Nicholas Feeney and Alicia Feeney. Jean was predeceased by her brother, the late Wade B. Dearborn.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 19th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Smith-Mason Funeral Home (398 Willett Ave. Riverside, RI 02915). The funeral service for Jean will be held at Smith-Mason Funeral Home on Friday, January 20th at 9:00 a.m., followed by a service at St. James Lutheran Church (49 Middle Highway, Barrington, RI 02806) at 10:00 a.m., with burial in Seekonk Cemetery on Newman Avenue in Seekonk, MA 02771. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's honor to St. James Lutheran Church, where she was a charter member.
