How would voting down using Stabilization Funds divert the town from another override? If anything, this would allow the FinComm to force us into having another override election, in which case the override will fail because none of us, from either “side,” is a proponent of another override. The municipality took the tax levy increase and put it somewhere else in their budget, so why does the school district not have the right to reclaim that money so that our children get the education they deserve? You better hope the state doesn’t cone in, either!
