Wetlands at Oak Knoll

Want to learn more about wetlands? Join us for this indoor/outdoor program. We begin indoors with a presentation and time to explore our artifact collection of wetland wildlife. Then head out with a teacher naturalist for a guided tour through marsh, stream, swamp, pond and vernal pool habitats. The hike includes a 1-mile stretch around Lake Talaquega over moderate terrain. There is a section with a small hill and the trail is not accessible by wheelchair. Hike takes place rain or shine.
