Virginia (Medeiros) Morris
Virginia (Medeiros) Morris, 91, of Rehoboth, passed away at home with her family at her side Tuesday, March 28, 2017. She was the wife of the late Louis Morris Jr.
Born July 24, 1925, in Seekonk, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Medeiros.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where she faithfully participated in the Eucharistic Adoration, was a member of the Women's Guild, and supported the charity events of the church including the bazaar. She was also a member of the Rehoboth Senior Center.
She leaves her children, Frederick L. Morris of Rehoboth, Edward Morris of Cranston, Diana M. DeLouise of Smithfield and Stephen L. Morris of Seekonk; her granddaughter, Sherry; and her great-grandsons, Jared and Jackson. She was the sister of the late Mary Szabo, Lena Medeiros, Emily Cabral, Joseph Medeiros Jr., Anthony Medeiros, Domenic Medeiros and John Medeiros.
Visitation will be Friday evening, March 31, from 7pm until 8pm in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 1, at 11am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Taunton Ave., Seekonk. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery.
