Timeline Encampment in Rehoboth Provides Rare Opportunity for All Ages to Learn about History

People of all ages are invited by the Rehoboth Minutemen to a Historic Timeline Encampment on Saturday, September 22 from 10 AM to 4 PM at Nike Park on Peck Street. This event open to the public in celebration of Rehoboth’s 375 Anniversary. Free admission and parking.

This is a rare opportunity to step back in time with historic re-enactors representing periods of time from the town’s early days including: Dartmouth Militia (King Philip’s War), Rehoboth Minutemen (Revolutionary War), Wareham Militia (War of 1812), 1812 USS Constitution Marines (War of 1812), 13th Massachusetts Regiment (Civil War), U.S. Sanitary Commission: Boston Branch (Civil War), Providence Brigade Band (Civil War), plus representatives from WWI, WWI, the Vietnam War and present day military.
There will be a concert by the Providence Brigade Band at 2 PM.

Rehoboth, Massachusetts is celebrating the 375 Anniversary of the town’s founding in 1643 with special events, programs and fundraisers throughout 2018.
