The Multiple Sclerosis Center At Sturdy Memorial Recognizes MS Awareness Month

Attleboro, MA, March 16, 2017 – The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) recognizes March as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Month. The MSAA urges everyone to help raise awareness of MS throughout the community and help improve the lives of people with MS. The MS Center at Sturdy aims to minimize the impact of the disease process and to support patients and their families through the illness experience by maximizing each person’s physical and emotional well-being. The MS Center utilizes a multidisciplinary team to optimally address the complex needs of people with MS.
The range of services offered at The MS Center include medical management of MS and related symptoms, management of Medtronic pump for pain and spasticity, BOTOX® for migraine headaches and spasticity, infusion therapy including intravenous steroids and TYSABRI®, Physician and Nursing services, Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Social Services, Speech/Language assessments, and individual PT exercise programs and referrals for outpatient PT.
