Ruth F. (Coe) Moniz, 92, formerly of Rehoboth and Bourne, MA, passed away on September 15, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Skip P. Moniz. Daughter of the late Hattie (Britton) Coe. Ruthie and her husband were the former owners of the Broadway Social Club and The Lodge Caf. She loved fishing and playing cards. Ruthie will always be remembered for her love of a cold beer, good conversation and rocking the dance floor. She was the mother of Marilyn Weber, Michael Bolton, Melodie Risk, stepmother to Shelly Hinson-Cauthen also mother to the late Maureen Gardner and Melinda Moniz. Grandmother to Christine, Melissa, Melinda, Christopher, Matthew, Justin, Drew, Gina, Shannon, Brandon and twelve great grandchildren. Sister of Jeannette, Cookie, Shirley and the late Charles, Betty, Herbert, Janet, Arthur, Peter and Diane. A service will be held at the OKeefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Saturday, September 22nd at 10 am. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 pm.
