Rehoboth Democrats Back Chris Hoskins for School Committee

The Rehoboth Democratic Town Committee met Saturday for their annual caucus and nominated Christopher Hoskins for the Dighton-Rehoboth School Committee. The town election is April 6.

Hoskins, who served as chairman of the Save Our Schools organization, told the committee he hoped the school department and town officials would be more collaborative, noting he was “sick of the fighting and the social media bashing.” 

“We need to sit down. We need to talk. We need to work together,” Hoskins said.

Other nominations included:

• Paul Jacques for Housing Authority
• William Cute for Town Moderator
• Tom Nicholson for Water Commissioner

There were no nominations for Board of Selectmen, Town Clerk, Planning Board, Park Commission, Tree Warden, or Stormwater Officer.
