Dunkin' Donuts Scholarship Deadline Extended
Dunkin’ Donuts and its franchisees across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts announced today that they are extending the application deadline of the 23rd annual Dunkin’ Donuts Scholarship Program to Monday, May 7.
This year, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees will award $10,000 scholarships to six local students who showcase academic excellence, leadership skills and committed participation in extracurricular school and community activities. Since launching the scholarship program in 1996, Dunkin’ Donuts has awarded more than $2 million in tuition assistance grants to help students further their education.
“We know this is an incredibly busy time of year for families across the region. By extending the deadline, we hope every interested student in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts will have the opportunity to apply for this award,” said local Dunkin’ Donuts franchise owner Joe Prazeres.
“We know that paying for college can be a struggle for many families in our communities, so we’ve committed every year to help make college dreams a reality for outstanding students and their families,” Prazeres said. “Every year, we’re amazed by the talent and determination of these young people, and we’re honored to support their journeys to college.”
Interested students can visit www.scholarsapply.org/ddonuts to apply. Applications must be received by the new, extended deadline of Monday, May 7 for consideration.
Scholarship recipients will be notified in late May.
