Dear Friends and Neighbors!

Posted

Once again, I am lacing up my sneakers to run the Boston Marathon on April 16, 2018 with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. As many of you know, my sister Kim succumbed to Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the age of 38 in 2005. Since then, with all of your help, we have raised over $45,000 in this fight against blood and all cancers! With this year’s goal of raising $10,000, that number will go over $50,000, an amazing tribute to Kim and to all of you! Here is my web page link if you would like to donate: http://pages.teamintraining.org/ma/boston18/cedington. If it is easier, you could mail a check made out to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, c/o Cathy Edington, 61 Reservoir Ave, Rehoboth, MA 02769. Also, if there is a loved one whose name you would like me to wear on my race shirt (either in memory of or in honor of), I am happy to do so. That is what fuels me during the long miles! Thanks for all your love, encouragement, support, and prayers! I am truly humbled.

Sincerely,

Cathy Edington
