The Hornbine School and The Rehoboth Historical Commission are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help at the school. Bev Pettine, who has managed most of the responsibilities at the Hornbine School for the last 17+ years, is retiring from those responsibilities this June.

We hope to find individuals who will enjoy taking on one or more responsibility at the school. Although the teaching position is one of the most important, there are many other ways individuals could get involved. You may enjoy attending one or more Sunday open houses at the school as a docent. (We have eight open houses - 2nd and 4th Sundays 2-4pm - June - Sept.) You may well enjoy assisting with the opening and/or closing of the school each season. There are many other possibilities available for individuals who treasure history.

We’d like interested individuals to start this spring with the help and guidance of Beverly Pettine.
