Over 500 visitors at the Strawberry Country Festival dodged raindrops and enjoyed all sorts of fun hands-on activities, including rope-making in the Carpenter Museum’s reproduction 1700s barn. For members of the Craft Show Committee, June/July is the time to begin assigning spaces to the artisans who’ll take part in the November Folk Art & Artisans Show. Guaranteed, Becky Webster will be at that meeting. In fact, Becky has been at almost every meeting and in every show for about 35 years.

But Becky is not just committed to the show. She lends her creative ideas, hard work ethic, and baking expertise to many of the Carpenter Museum’s programs. In fact, if you attended our Strawberry Country Festival in May, she was running the bake table by herself!

So thanks, Becky, from all of us.

While the others on the Craft Show Committee look forward to seeing Becky at the upcoming meeting, you can be assured that the staff will, too. She always arrives with a delicious plate of homemade cookies or scones.
