Joseph L. Rose, 90, of Wheeler St., Rehoboth, passed away at home with his family at his side, Tuesday morning, September 18, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Agnes (Bettencourt) Rose.
Born Feb. 12, 1928, in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Motta) Rose. Joe was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and was a Marion Medal recipient. He was the owner of former Shadow Lawn Dairy of East Providence and of the Windy Hill Farm of Rehoboth.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, he leaves his daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Hugh Kenworthy III, and his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Debbie Rose; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 21, at 10am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Taunton Ave., Seekonk, with burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
