Salois and his wife Nicole of Roseville, Calif.; and four sisters: Marguerite Fregolle, Therese Vincent, Claire Plante, and Lillian Lemieux. He was the brother of the late David, Joseph, and Irene Salois, Marie Miles, Gertrude Bouvier, and Cecile Tetreault. He was the proud grandfather of 17: Carrie Williams in Oklahoma; Jennie Walker, John Estrella, Lorrie Kilpatrick, Robert Estrella, and James Estrella, all in Texas; Denise Wesley of Taunton; Michael, Amanda and Alexandra Saloisl, both of Rehoboth; Lea Hurrell of Pawtucket; Sydney Hurrell of Rehoboth; Andrew and Heather Salois, both of Dighton; Austin, Owen, and Ethan Salois, all in California; and 16 great-grandchildren: Katie Elam, Matthew Smythe, Christopher Smythe, Steven Wilcox, Brittany Ballard, Anthony McBride, Zane Estrella, Cayla Estrella, Ty Estrella, Cameron Kilpatrick, Lilly Kilpatrick, Peter Estrella, and Evan Estrella, all in Texas; Maynard Pinard and Nickolas Wesley, both of Taunton; and Glenny Hurrell of Pawtucket, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Evan Salois.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 9:30 a.m. from William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by services at 10:30 a.m. in the Darlington Congregational Church, Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Rehoboth Ambulance Committee, P.O. Box 156, Rehoboth, MA 02769 would be appreciated.
