GFWC Taunton and Raynham Jr. Woman's Club celebrates 100th Anniversary of 19th Amendment

The members of the GFWC Taunton and Raynham Jr. Woman's Club celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment honoring the suffragists who fought diligently for the 'right to vote' for all women on August 26th. An 'Iced Tea' outdoor mini luncheon was held at the home of one of the members, and the women who attended wore white and donned purple VOTES FOR WOMEN sashes. As a sign of the times they were presented with masks and a bead kit to make mask holders.

The GFWC Taunton and Raynham Jr. Woman's Club will hold their next business meeting on Monday, September 14th at the USMC League Hall in Somerset and welcome local author Don Sampson as their guest speaker.
