David Bradley Osborne

Posted

David Bradley Osborne, 61, of Rehoboth passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 30, 2018.

Born on July 13, 1957, in Milford, he was the beloved son of Jeanette T. (Osborne) Callabro of Pawtucket.

A graduate of North Attleboro High School, he worked for many years for Pawtucket Credit Union as a courier and in the maintenance department; in the woodworking department of National Lumber in Mansfield, and previously at Cardi’s Furniture.

Prior to residing in Rehoboth, David lived in Pawtucket.

A warm and outgoing man with many interests, he had a strong sense of patriotism; enjoyed cooking: having been awarded first place in a chili competition; gardening; woodworking; and music. Holding a bald eagle and flying a plane were two items on his “bucket list”. David was able to check a Bahama cruise vacation and zip-lining off his bucket list, two things he really enjoyed doing with all his family. He enjoyed all things nautical; and especially loved spending time on Sebago Lake, Maine. He competed in two Boulderdash races, which he was very proud of. He had a genuine love of all animals, and had a special place in his heart for his cat, “Bobo”. More than anything, David loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Jeanette, he is survived by his loving children: Brittany R. Arruda and her husband, Gary M. Arruda, of Rehoboth, with whom he made his home; Brianna M. Chapman and her husband, Caleb M. Chapman, of Ardmore, Ala.; and Savanna N. Osborne of Pawtucket. He was the dear brother of Stephen J. Osborne and his wife, Neila (Rose) Osborne, of South Attleboro; Kevin J. Osborne and his wife, Kelly (Megna) Osborne, of Woonsocket and Paul T. Osborne and his companion, Diane Gaudreau, of Webster. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Liam M. Arruda, 10; Lila R. Arruda, 6; Levi M. Chapman, 3; and Carter J. Chapman, 2; and was looking forward to the upcoming birth of another grandchild. He leaves several nieces and nephews; his “Aunt Lillian”, his cousins, and many dear friends. He was the step-son of Frank C. Callabro who died on July 16, 2012, and who was like a father to David and his brothers. He was the former husband of Robin Marie (Mitchell) Sandeen.

Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember David by gathering for a Visitation on Thursday, August 9, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 7 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
