Christine (Rossi) Coia

Christine (Rossi) Coia, 95, formerly of Foote Street, Barrington and Lorson Lane, Rehoboth, MA, died peacefully on January 24, 2018 in Tamarac, FL. She was the wife of the late John Coia.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Ferrante) Rossi, she lived in Rehoboth, MA for 38 years previously residing in Barrington.

Mrs. Coia was a solderer in the jewelry industry for 25 years before retiring in 1976.

Christine was a former member of the Holy Angels Church Womens Guild. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, John A. Coia Jr. of Sunrise, FL; a daughter, Donna M. Earle of Rehoboth, MA; a sister, Angela Fillippone of Cranston; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Mary Iaccuvolli, Gloria Ruscetta, Frances O’Kane, Eleanor Clay and Anthony Rossi.

Her funeral will be held on Friday February 2, 2018 from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk, MA at 11 a.m. Graveside burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday morning 9-10 a.m.
