Raymond A. Peck, Sr.

Raymond A. Peck, Sr., 90, of Riverside, RI passed away on May 8, 2017. He was husband to the late Elinor Peck and son to the late Ralph Peck and Mildred Peck (Ormsbee).

He was a 60-year resident of Riverside, RI and worked for Mobil Oil Corporation for 34 years. Raymond loved boating and was best known for Captain Peck. As a World War II Veteran for the 26th Yankee Division he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze service stars, WWII Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal with Germany clasp, Combat Infantryman Badge 1st Award, and Honorable Service Lapel Button WWII.

He is survived by two sons, Randy Peck from Texas, Raymond A. Peck Jr. from Riverside, RI, and one daughter Kimberly Peck from Riverside, RI. He was brother of the late Arnold Peck and leaves behind three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Monday May 15, 2017 in St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Hwy, Barrington, RI 02806, at 10 AM. Burial with military honors will follow at Little Neck Cemetery in Riverside, RI 029185.
