Maria Conceicao (Raposo) Botelho

Maria Conceicao (Raposo) Botelho, age 96, of Griffith Ave., died April 10, 2017 at Hope Hospice with her loving family by her side.

She was the wife of the late Manuel Botelho. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Francisco Luis and Maria Isabel (Rebelo) Raposo.

She worked as an assembler for Davol Rubber Company for 18 years. Maria was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality at St. Francis Xavier Church.

She is survived by her daughters Maria Luisa Botelho (James) of East Providence, Maria Octavia Botelho (Luis) of Riverside, Grace Falacho of Texas; her 4 grandchildren Dean Botelho, Michael Botelho (Michelle), Christopher Falacho and Joshua Falacho (Erin) and 7 greatgrandchildren She was the sister of the late Francisco Luis, Manuel, Antone, Jose, Luis and Joao Raposo and Filimina Tomas, Angelina Amaral and Maria L. Pereira.

Her funeral will begin on Tuesday at 8:45am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am in St. Brendan's Church, Turner Ave., Riverside. Burial will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm.
