No Plans for Shelter in Place yet
Governor Gina Raimondo and RI Health Department Director Dr. Scott strongly urge all Rhode Islanders to stay home this weekend if possible. Raimondo states that all the data and information suggest this is a critical point in the crisis.
Although no plans for a Shelter in Place as of yet, people should only make very brief emergency visits for food or supplies and return home immediately.
People are urged to not panic shop. All gatherings of 10 or more people are prohibited. Such gatherings will be broken up when discovered.
