Catherine (McElroy) McKenna, 94, of Rumford passed away May 18th, 2017. She was the wife of the late Raymond McKenna. Catherine was born in East Providence, a daughter to the late William J. and Gladys (McConnell) McElroy.

She is survived by her grandchildren Kristen LeBlond and Bradley LeBlond, brothers Thomas, Robert, Edward, Stephen and Daniel McElroy, sisters Virginia Rogers, Mae Richardson, Joan Paone, and Nancy Grant. Catherine is predeceased by her two children, Marijane LeBlond and Marilyn McKenna. She is also predeceased by her siblings Arlene Thurber, Marjorie Meunier, Gladys Souza, William McElroy, John McElroy and James McElroy.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Catherine on Tuesday, May 23rd at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph’s Church, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket. Her calling hours will be Tuesday from 8:00 am until 10:00 am in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Her burial will be immediately after in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one’s favorite charity in Catherine’s name.
