Annual Ten Mile River Greenway Clean up

The Ten Mile River Watershed Council (TMRWC) will host our annual cleanup of the Ten Mile River Greenway on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 10 am to 2 pm. The TMRWC will supply trash bags and work gloves. We suggest volunteers wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty, long pants, socks that cover your ankles, and sturdy closed-toe shoes. To do our part for the environment, the TMRWC is moving away from the use of single-use disposable plastic water bottles. While we will have a limited number of water bottles on-site, we encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable bottles filled with water.
Volunteers are asked to meet at Kimberly Ann Rock Memorial Athletic Complex on Ferris Avenue in East Providence, RI. All ages are welcome. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
