Veronica “Ronnie” (Saunders) Feeney, 84, of Harvard Street, Riverside, died peacefully on March 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William A. Feeney Sr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Leon and Marion (Walsh) Saunders, she lived in East Providence for 60 years.

Mrs. Feeney was a secretary at St. Brendan School for 20 years before retiring in 1998.

Veronica was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her many friends.

She is survived by her children, Karen E. Ballou and her husband Richard of Lincolnville, ME, Maureen E. Feeney-Beaudoin of Riverside, William A. Feeney Jr. and his wife Maria of Barrington, Paul T. Feeney and his wife Stacey of Riverside and Kevin M. Feeney (E.P.P.D.) and his wife Lori Ann of Riverside; two brothers, Charles Saunders of Riverside and William Saunders of West Virginia; a sister, Dorothy J. Drapeau of Seekonk, MA; sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Ann Elizabeth Feeney and sister of the late Leon W. Saunders and Rowena Saunders.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday March 7, 2018 from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
