Todd S. Pennoyer

Todd S. Pennoyer, 58, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 26th, 2023, surrounded by his family at home in Smithfield. He was diagnosed with glioblastoma in Nov., 2022. As his disease progressed, he was cared for by an extended care team of his child, sisters, nieces, friends, and the staff from Elmwood Home Care, Hope Health Hospice, and Bright Side Home Health Care. He was the owner of Sweepro, a company which he founded in 1987. Throughout his life he was a vocal advocate for environmentalism and animal rights.

Born in Cranston, he was the son of Steven and Barbara (Homer) Pennoyer. Todd leaves one child Nolan Lindenburg-Pennoyer, and his mother, Doreen Lindenburg; his sisters, Deborah Landi and her husband Steven, and Carolyn LeClair and her husband Richard, long-time friend Jackie Sideli, four nieces, Katherine Gagnon, Kimberly Davis, Melissa Chadwick, and Raquel Pennoyer, three nephews, Richard LeClair Jr., Christopher Landi and Eric Pennoyer. He was the brother of the late Scott S. Pennoyer.

His funeral and visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in Seekonk.
