Thomas W. Moran
Thomas W. Moran, 100, of Rumford, passed away Friday February 9, 2018 at the Linn Health Care Center.
He was the husband of the late Miriam (Golden) Moran.
Born in Burlington, Vermont, he was a son of the late Thomas H. and Grace A. (Fitzsimonds) Moran.
He leaves two daughters, Mary Lou Beckler and her husband Stephen of Seekonk and Gail Breaugh and her husband James of St. Louis, one son, Todd Moran and his wife Marylou of Seekonk, one sister, Sr. Virginia Moran RSM, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Kathleen Moran.
Mr. Moran was the owner and operator of Providence Label and Tag Company before retiring. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. He retired from the Army as a Lt. Colonel. He was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family. Miriam and Tom enjoyed spending winters in Florida and summers in Point Judith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Margaret's Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours respectfully omitted.
