Rose S. (Steadman) Kelley

Rose S. (Steadman) Kelley, 88, of Riverside, RI, passed peacefully on February 24, 2021. Rose was the wife of Frances W. Kelley.

Born on Block Island to William Steadman and Martha Renolds (Steadman), Rose was an 80 Year resident of East Providence/Riverside. She was a former postmistress of Barrington College until it closed, and a long-time clerk of Meadowcrest Pharmacy. Alway a people person, she was a friend to all she met. A Long time member of the Riverside Covenant Church and a faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ. One of her favorite sayings was, “Remember that you are the only bible that some people will ever read.” Besides her spouse of 61 years, she leaves three sons, William Kelley and his wife Cynthia, Daniel Kelley and his wife Theresa, and Bernard Kelley. Rose also leaves two daughters the couple fostered, Cora Ronson and Bonnie Hatch, plus 11 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to Riverside Covenant Church or the Salvation Army would be much appreciated.
