Ronald Therrien, 87, of Riverside, passed away on Saturday July 1, 2017 at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of Dolores (Rose) Therrien to whom he was married 69 years. Born in Albany, New York he was a son of the late Leonide and Lillian (Thibodeau) Therrien. Mr. Therrien was a truck driver for Teamsters Local 251 before he retired. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Ronald Therrien and his wife Edith of Coventry and Steven Therrien of Ankeny, Iowa, three grandchildren, Michael Therrien of Coventry, Jeffrey Therrien and his wife Shalynn of Des Moines, Iowa and Stacey Williams and her husband Blair of Platte City, Missouri, three sisters, Georgette, Vivienne and Martha Therrien, one brother, Joseph Therrien and five great grandchildren. His funeral service will be held on Saturday July 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
