Ronald L. Zarembka

Ronald L. Zarembka, 85, passed away peacefully on August 15th, 2018. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather who treasured his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Arlene (King) Zarembka.The couple would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on August 27th.

He was born in South Bend, Indiana, son of the late Leo and Theresa Zarembka. Brother to Robert of Akron, Ohio and Eugene of South Bend, Indiana.

Loving father of Bruce R. Zarembka, Mark S. (Rose) Zarembka, Mary Anne (Russell) Maciel, Susan A. (Michael) Bricault. Loving Grandfather of Dr. Steven Zarembka, the late Lauren Zarembka, Anne Zarembka, twins Marissa and Jessica Maciel, Erica Maciel, Christopher and Stephanie Bricault. Ron proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was employed by G.T. Sheldahl and retired from Lee Engineering. He loved family vacations, the beach, the Patriots and Red Sox and was an avid fisherman. He especially loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. His funeral will be held on Monday, August 20th at 10:00am from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 19th, from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
