Robert J. Dyson, 84, of Grassy Plain Road, Riverside, died peacefully on February 21, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Louise L. (O’Neil) Dyson.

A lifelong resident of Riverside, he was the son of the late John Dyson.

Mr. Dyson was a teacher for the RI School of Electronics for many years.

Robert was a United States Navy Veteran.

Besides his wife of 52 years, he is survived by a daughter, Michele L. Silveira of Attleboro, MA; a son, Kevin J. Dyson of Riverside and four grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan, Gage and Paige. He was the brother of the late John L. Dyson Jr.

His funeral service will be held on Friday March 1, 2019 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 12 noon. Calling hours are Friday morning 11 a.m.-12 noon. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
