Raymond J. Levesque, Sr., 86, of Rumford passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his home. He was the husband of Rose (Portella) Levesque. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Cora (Michaud) Levesque. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Levesque was a meat cutter for Stop and Shop before retiring. He was an avid golfer and a sports enthusiast. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Cathy Alves and her husband John of Marion, MA and Kim Bevilacqua and her husband Anthony of East Providence, three sons, Raymond J. Levesque, Jr. and his fiancée Erika of Cranston, Kevin Levesque and his wife Tami of California and Gary Levesque and his wife Christine of East Providence, one sister, Irene Richter, nineteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Cora Hicks. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2018 from 5-8 in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. His funeral and burial will be private.
