Pearl T. Cinq-Mars, 91, of East Providence, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Eastgate Nursing Home, East Providence. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. “Archie” Cinq-Mars. Mr. & Mrs. Cinq-Mars had been married for 68 years.

Born in North Attleborough, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late John H. Goodall, Jr. and Blanche (LaPlante) Goodall, she had lived in Pawtucket and Barrington, before moving to East Providence twelve years ago.

Mrs. Cinq-Mars worked as a cafeteria worker at Bishop Feehan High School, and as a dietary supervisor at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, before retiring.

She volunteered for twenty-nine years at the Soup Kitchen at the former Notre Dame Church, Central Falls, and was a communicant of the former St. Maria Goretti Church, Pawtucket.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Choquette, and her husband Richard, of Riverside; one son, John W. Cinq-Mars of Cranston; two sisters, Sr. Pauline Goodall, R.S.M., of Attleboro, Massachusetts, and Martha Goodall of St. Paul, Nebraska; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A prayer service will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, North Attleborough, Massachusetts. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Bishop Feehan High School Scholarship Fund, 70 Holcott Drive, Attleboro, MA 02703, would be appreciated.
