Paulo DeBarros, 90, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019. He was the husband of Deolinda (Martins) DeBarros.

Born in Brava, Cape Verde Islands, he was a son of the late Joao J. and Maria J. DeBarros. Mr. DeBarros was a Merchant Marine and worked for the Exxon Corporation and Moran Towing & Transportation before he retired. Besides his wife he leaves seven children, Eugenia Ferreira and her husband Julio, Paul John DeBarros and his wife Margaret, Paul Edward DeBarros and his wife Wendy, Anthony M. DeBarros and his partner Maria, Melinda Iaconelli and her husband Marcello, Melanie Reilly and her husband Joseph and Melissa Faella and her husband Brian, five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Arminda, Jose, Artur and Justa.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 8:45 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-8.
