Pauline F. (Petrozzi) Arruda

Pauline F. (Petrozzi) Arruda, 96, of East Providence, formerly of West Warwick passed away Sunday evening, Sept. 3, 2017 at Orchard View Manor, East Providence.

She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Arruda and the late Myron Traverse. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Ruzzo) Petrozzi.

Mrs. Arruda was a foster grandparent with the West Warwick School Department and was also employed at Kent Hospital.

She is survived by a son, Stanley R. Traverse and his wife Barbara of Riverside; a daughter, Charlene A. Painter and her late husband Harold of Riverside; four grandchildren, Rob Traverse, Susan Traverse, David Wood and Sarah Notarangelo and seven great grandchildren, Casey and Corrie Traverse, Jaime Sousa, Christopher and Zachary Wood, Autumn and Aubrey Notarangelo. She was the mother of the late Wayne S. Traverse and sister of the late Rimmige Petrozzi, Evangelist “Pete” Petrozzi, Angie Marchetti, Olympia DiCarlo, Santina Pagliarini, Gloria O’Malley, Mary Petrozzi and Joseph Uccello.
