Patricia J. Ford, 77, passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of Arnold W. Ford to whom she was married for 59 years. Born in Assonet, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Mary (DeCosta) Labouliere. Mrs. Ford was an Adjudicator for the Unemployment Department for the State of Rhode Island for 20 years before retiring. She was the class queen of East Providence High School, class of 1958. She was the first women director of the East Providence Central Little League Girls Softball. She was an avid camper who loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed time at the lake. Her favorite vacation destination was Arruba. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Lisa Botelho and Jeanne Ford both of East Providnce, seven grandchildren, Whitney Gorman, Mitchell Bedford, Justin Botelho, Cameron Ford, Derek Botelho, Kevin Botelho and Hunter Brennan, one great granddaughter, Evelyn Gorman, one brother, Stephen Labouliere, one aunt, Dolores Viera and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Bill and Scott Ford. Her funeral and visitation will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Saint Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
