Patricia (Botelho) Zinno, 78, of East Providence and formerly of Coventry and Cranston, passed away on Sunday August 22, 2021 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late William M. Zinno, Sr.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary E. (Corey) Botelho. Patricia was a school teacher for the Scituate School Department and taught at the Hope Elementary School. She served in various elected positions at the National Education Association-Rhode Island including President from 1969-1970 and Assistant Executive Secretary. She was also employed by the National Education Association as Administrative Manager at the Northeast Regional Office. She also worked at Lord and Taylor. Patricia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Education from Rhode Island College and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. She was a faithful communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.

She leaves one sister, Cathy Miguel and her husband Wayne, one niece, Jennifer Farley and her husband Tim, one nephew, Jonathan Faria, five great nieces and nephews, Noah, Nate, Lily, Bella and Elizabeth and many cousins.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours Sunday 5-8.
