Mary Louise [Barishian] Clifford, 79 of Riverside, RI joined the angels of Heaven on May 15, 2020. Mary Lou touched the lives of so many who were lucky to have met her and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Born December 8, 1940 in Providence, R.I. to Kiricor and Emily Barishian, the youngest of four children. She is predeceased by her husband Donald Clifford and her companion of 16 years, Roupen Zeytoudjian and her brother John Barishian. She is survived by her brother George Barishian of Hope, RI, her sister and brother in-law, Antoine and Lily Mangalo (Barishian) of Barrington, RI, her many nieces and nephews John and Denise Barishian of Attleboro, MA, Greg and Maureen Barishian of Hope, RI, Donna Barishian of Providence, RI, Nancy [Barishian] and Harold Burke of Greenvile, RI, David Barishian of Hope, RI, George Mangalo and Paul Brigido of Providence, RI, Renee [Mangalo] & Frank Carino of Great River, NY and Claudine Almeida of Lincoln, RI. She also leaves behind many grand nieces and nephews, John, James, Nicholas, Nicole, Megan, Rebecca, Ryan, John, Anna and Julia and great great nephews, all whom she loved so dearly.

While Mary Lou did not have any children of her own she was a second mom to many of her nieces and nephews. Always there for all the big moments and providing love and support through life’s ups and downs. She had a wonderful love of life, always sharing a joke to make you laugh. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, and a love of animals, especially her dogs Duke and Max. She had a strong faith serving as a Eucharistic minister for many years at both her churches in Rhode Island and Florida. She made friends where ever she went and the ability to bring others together, forming a social group of widowers with members of her church after the loss of her husband.

She graduated from Hope High School in Providence RI in and associates degree in Accounting from Johnson & Wales. She worked for many years as bookkeeper She most recently lived in Rhode Island, but had spent many years living in Palm Beach Gardens and Wellington, Florida.

Her bright shining light will live forever in the hearts and memories of all those she touched.
