Mary Lou Aniceto

Mary Lou Aniceto, 63, of Plymouth Road, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Leiria, Portugal. She was the wife of Manuel P. Aniceto.

She was born in Capelo, Faial, Azores the daughter of Maria Alcinda (Dutra) Faria and the late Francisco Inacio Faria. Mary Lou was a school teacher for the Providence School Department for 32 years before she retired 10 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Martha’s Church and a member of the Heritage Committee. Mary Lou’s creativity was expressed thru her love of arts & crafts.

Besides her husband and mother she leaves two children, Melissa Rego and her husband Eugene Fina and his daughter Sarah of Barrington and Michael F. Aniceto and his wife Michelle of Cumberland and three grandchildren, Isabelle Rego, Quinn Aniceto and Mason Aniceto.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 8:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-8.
