Mary L. Clark

Mary L. Clark, 89, formerly of Riverside, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Evergreen Health Center. She was the wife of the late Ronald M. Clark, Sr.

Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Americo, Sr. and Nellie (Gaglia) Amerantes. Mrs. Clark was an avid Boston Red Sox and Washington Red Skins fan. She also enjoyed painting by numbers.

She leaves three daughters, Jo Whitehead of Mapleville, Donna Peloquin of Pawtucket and Cheryl Clark of East Providence, four sons, John Clark, Ronald Clark, Jr., Paul Clark and Kenneth Clark all of Riverside, two sisters, Eunice Enos and Linda Bragg both of Riverside, two brothers, Joseph Amerantes of North Carolina and Edward Amerantes of Coventry, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was the sister of the late Helen Vincent, Jean Jones, Manuel Amerantes, Americo Amerantes, Francis Amerantes and Anthony Amerantes.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Brendan’s Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5-7.
