Mary C. Taylor, 87, of East Providence passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at her home. Born in Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Mary C. (McCann) Coyle. Mary settled in East Providence, RI after coming to the United States in 1950. She worked for AT&T for over 40 years before retiring. She was a member of the Irish Ceilidhe Club and was an avid Red Sox fan. She leaves four sisters, Josephine Pelletier, Una Duffy, Sheila Kerrigan and Philomena Murphy, two brothers, Gerald and Aidan Coyle and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul Coyle, Nan Dignan, Peggy Kelly, Patrick, Francis and Kevin Coyle. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 9:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Margaret’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford.
