Mary A.(Black) Mayforth, 94, of Poplar Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on January 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the former wife of the late Richard A. Mayforth.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Black, she lived in Riverside for 40 years.

Mrs. Mayforth was a secretary for the Old Colony Newport National Bank for 10 years before retiring in 1983.

Mary was a Certified Graphoanalysts since 1979 and was a member of the Rhode Island Chapter of Graphoanalysts.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Mayforth of Riverside.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday January 18, 2018 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
