Marilyn (Littlejohn) Washington, 76, of Springhill, FL (formerly of Providence, RI), passed away after a lengthy illness, on Monday, November 30, 2020, at Springhill Rehabilitation Center in Brooksville, FL.

Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Aaron M. Littlejohn, Sr. and the late Jeanette (Williams) Littlejohn.

Marilyn received a Certificate of Completion in Comptometer Studies at Johnson & Wales Junior College in the 1960s. More recently, she attended Community College of Rhode Island. Marilyn retired from her bus driver position after 20 years of employment with Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA). Marilyn’s hobbies included volunteerism, cooking, singing and listening to a wide variety of music. She was also very active within her church (Beneficent Congregational) and held various administrative & non-administrative positions there.

Marilyn is survived by two children, her daughter Faith J. Stuckey of Springhill, FL (her husband Stefan A. Stuckey), and a son Christopher B. Washington, of Woonsocket, RI; six grandchildren, Stefon J.J., Angelina, Seleena, Destynee, Nevaeh, and Christopher, Jr. Besides her children and grandchildren, she leaves sisters Patricia A. Tamlin of Murrieta, CA, Harriet L. Doran of Providence, RI, and Antoinette Litttlejohn of Rumford, RI; brothers Aaron M. Littlejohn, Jr. of Billings, MT (wife Nancy), Ralph Littlejohn of North Las Vegas, NV, and Rickia Littlejohn of Lincoln, RI. Two other siblings who predeceased Marilyn include — Specialist 4th Class McGeary Littlejohn and Phyllis E. Littlejohn Brown. Marilyn is also survived by her god-child Crystal (Mitchell) Irving of Murrieta, CA. As Marilyn comes from a very large extended family, she leaves a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, along with many friends.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial/celebration service will be held for Marilyn in the future.
