Marcella M. (Brennan) Doyle, 87, formerly of Palmer Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on July 20, 2018. She was the wife of the late James F. Doyle.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Mary W. (Wallace) Brennan, she lived in Riverside for 40 years.

Mrs. Doyle was the owner & operator of the former Belles & Beaus Nursery School for 30 years before retiring in 1995.

Marcella was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister of St. Brendan Church and was a former member of the parish’s Rosary & Altar society and Forever Young Club. She also was a member of the Golden Girls Club and enjoyed crocheting and reading.

She is survived by her children, Sharon A. DiMascolo and her husband Hugo of Cranston, Mary A. Ravo and her husband Stephan of Cranston, John A. Doyle of Exeter, Marcella A. Rebello and her husband Stephen Beauregard of North Smithfield, Susan M. Howard and her husband Kenneth of Cranston, Michael P. Doyle of Seekonk, MA and Matthew P. Doyle of East Providence and James Doyle; two sisters, Mary W. Brennan of Providence and Veronica Donnelly of South Kingstown; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late William James Rebello; mother-in-law of the late Robert Rebello and Terry Doyle and sister of the late John P. Brennan.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday July 25, 2018 from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
